l do not think firing him is the solution. l do agree something needs done about coaching though. l think he should be given something of a warning that if things do not get straightened out then he is gone(and l do not think it needs to be made public). What l mean is not so much winning games as they need to show the passion & their ability out there. No, he is proven that he has what it takes when he got the boys to the SCF last year. The problems on the Pens are not solely Therrien is fault. Crosby and Malkin are not carrying their weight, the defense has completely broken down, and Fleury acts like he is sleeping in net half the time. Therrien is only the beginning of the problems, not the answer to them. Firing Therrien is not going to make the team suddenly better.

l do not think Therrien is the problem. I've watched many of the games lately & the stars r not performing. If Crosby is going to take to fighting or hitting guys in the nuts (from behind), then obviously the team will suffer.

Firing Therrien is not the answer, in my opinion. l think he just needs to realize he should stop moving the lines around. Plus, he just received a new contract. which, makes it hard for me to believe he will be getting fired.

These players get paid a lot of money to play a game & u would think that given that opportunity they would ''police'' themselves & be able to figure out why they r slumping. A big problem for them is the Pens always look for that pretty pass play instead of getting the puck to the net. How many times do Malkin & Crosby drop pass & there is no one around but the other team? The Pens need to figure this out & soon. l also thought the win in Atlanta would be the turn around & the beginning of the Nashville game almost confirmed this but then 5 unanswered goals from Nashville put an end to that for me.
