l realize l am biased but what the front. We have arguably 4 of the most talented players in the game. (Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Hossa, Zetteberg).

It is this every team must be represented crap. The starting Cities (Chicago and Anaheim had 3 a piece leaving 13 teams needed to fill 15 spots. That is only 2 extra players.

That is the concept of team play. Like the leafs, no great player just a bunch of role players. Unlike the Leafs, Detroit is role players are pretty good.

l live in Michigan, and l agree they should have been starting!! We know how good they are, and what they will be missing :-))

Who cares,.the game is boring anyway. l rather my teams players get some rest, and be prepared for the long haul to the playoffs. You cant expect people to vote for what they are affraid of. They know the Wings are better, but they wont admit it.

The one that bugs me is Lidstrom. but its really a popularity contest and with all the people on Phaneuf is nuts. what can you do about it.

It is not like People who DON'T like the Wings can take away votes from them. It is just simply because the Red Wings Fans did not get as many votes as the other players.

All-star voting is a joke. Do not even worry about it. If we got together, as Wings fans, and all voted someone like Lilja or Kronwall, they'd get in. Not to take anything away from either of them at all, but they are not all-star players are the moment.

All-Star voting is flawed in every sport. If you really want to know who the best are ( and remember, this is a team sport), wait until the cup finals! Those are the best!
