A long time. you dont bring up young goalies into a team thats epically struggling. His confidence would dramatically decrease and/ or waiver. Goalies as a rule, usually take a few extra years to develop (not always the case, but in general it is)

Tokarski can only be called up this season on an emergency basis. Given the number of goaltenders they already have signed, that is highly unlikely to happen.

Considering that Tokarski was absolutely terrible against jr players while playing on a heavily stacked up Team Canada. The odds of him EVER playing a game for the Lightning are pretty slim.
