In case some of you have not noticed, there is a huge fan base of the NHL that just did not seem to have the heart or anxiousness inside them when the All Star weekend was approaching like in earlier years. Not as much excitement surrounding them. But maybe Ovie is little ''Canadian Pride'' trick at the Breakaway challenge last night did something for this event. l just felt like he brought the fun and child like excitement back into the whole weekend with that hilarious stunt and successful stunt at that. How about you guys?

l think he did save it, l would have liked to see some more spin a rama tricks like last year.

it is definitely one of the things they need to drop ASAP.

ovi definitely made the whole weekend worth watching with his stunts, plus this will make the all star weekend something to look forward to in coming years.

That skills comp was beyond saving.

yea its probably beyond saving but its fun for me to watch they should do more creative things like that then maybe in a few yrs it will help

definitly him & marc savard making to the end in the elimination shootout. they had someone to talk to on the ice thats always cool.
ovie is a great player & unlike many other great players he has personality. makes him seem human something we can relate to. unlike just talented boring guys, he gives it something extra, & it was really cool to see him get malkin in the act that made it even better. i'm so glad he is on my team. & no i'm not just a bandwagon fan l live in va so the caps have been my team for a while before he came.

l am just going to say that what he did was THE BEST of anything I've ever seen in hockey. That was a-maze-ing! Case closed. Period.
