Pavel Dats-yuck (terrible pun, but bear with me) without a doubt. If you watch him during a game, l do not believe he EVER has his head down.

Color commentator Mickey Redmond (for the Wings) often makes comments about how Datsyuk can stick handle in a phone booth. Other players can attest to Datsyuk is magic hands & moves with the puck. He is truly someone special & magical to watch. Datsyuk is hard to knock off the puck & rarely ever loses the puck yet look how often he takes the puck from others almost effortlessly. Datsyuk is sick with the puck often turning opposing players inside out anywhere on the ice.

Here is a short one of Datsyuk effortlessly taking the puck off Jagr is stick, skating in & forcing Kolzig across the crease & making him look like a fish out of water.

Every time Datsyuk gets the puck, he is doing something special, just watch for a second or 2 & u will see how his mind works. It is unlike anything l have ever seen as often as it happens. Most players have a couple of moves..Datsyuk seems to have an infinite amount of slickness unmatched.

This only 6 seconds. it occurred the other night & was not the first time of the night Pavel undressed ODonnell. In fact late in the 2nd period of the Wings, LA game the other night ODonnell took a 4 minute double minor for cross checking. The cross check was to the head & nothing further was called unfortunately. Goes to show u what Datsyuk can do to a player & a team.

Simply stick handling, l would say kovalev, but in a game where it matters, Datsyuk reigns supreme. Hands soft as butter. Plus, if you play who would you rather play like? Datsyuk usually finishes his plays, and kovalev is hit or miss. Kane is not in his prime yet, but he will be fun to watch as he gets older.

Datsyuk is amazing, but Kovalev is in a league of his own. If you've ever seen the man practice, you'd know exactly what l am talking about.

l just wish these guys, and others like them, would display their dangle-ocity a little more in game play.

Alexei Kovalev is the best. Pavel Datsyuk has definitely shown us what stick handling is all about, but l will still go with Alexei Kovalev. One player even stated that if you play the puck on Kovalev, he will ''make you look stupid''. l forgot who said that though. =(

Nothing can beat the Datsyukian Deke as Mickey Redmond and Ken Daniels call it.

ALES HEMSKY by farr!!!! hemsky has the best stick handling in the league have u need the the man turn defenders inside out. and as Joe Sakic has said so himself that hemsky has the greatest hands hes ever seen.

DATS! Kovalev is great too, but more in practice than in actual game. Then again, l have not really seen Datsyuk practicing puck handling, l bet he is just as good.
