What are your opinions on this change?..Do you think that was the right decision in your mind, or do you believe that there was another guy in the lineup who should've got taken out? .. l agree with Daneyko, during the hockey night live segment, sayin that we should've only brought Shanny in if there was an injury, what is the big rush?!

Friggin chewing my nails off with this ''who is getting traded'' crap. It was him, Clarky or Rupp to sit. That being said he is the least productive of all of them so l can not argue. No taking anything away from Jay is behind the play effort.

They real ''?'' is who is packing.. l feel the aforementioned 3 will each sit and Brent will make his decision on there reaction along with our Darker goalie and Rochester rocket..

It was the right decision because Pandolfo just has not been as productive offensively or even defensively as he used to. At the same time, l am really gonna miss Pando :( He was always a big part of the Devils organization ever since he joined the team, & l am really going to miss him. But u can not argue with Shanahan is experience & skill, so it was the right move for the team, but not one that l like.

True, there is no rush to bring Shanny to the team - the Devils r doing great right now - but if u think about it, would not u want someone of Shanahan is skill level to replace someone of Pandolfo is or Rupp is skill level? Personally, l know l get attached to players who have been on the team for a long time, but putting feelings aside, Shanahan is better, & there is no reason to keep one player when there is another who is better to take his place.

But it would be a good idea to have Shanahan practice more so that he is 100% to play. l mean, u saw Sundin when he played against the Devils - he kept turning pucks over & making bad moves. The Devils should not make the same mistake as Vancouver by putting a player into the lineup who just is not ready yet.

l like it. Pando has not been bad but he has not been noticeable. l think Rupp sits when the other team does not have many fighters. But it is good to cycle the guys up keep everyone fresh & everyone fighting for a spot. Rupp sits next game then keep cycling. Supposedly he was in great shape so he wo not be too rusty. Dont think it was too much of a rush because Sutter said he could have played in Columbus. They must have gotten desprate when they lost to Atlanta, team needed leadership & motivation, & Shanny brings that. We will see tonite.
