l always play nhl 09 but l never no which team to take can u guys tell me 1 team which is good and l should take it..........

Im a Leafs fan but when l play,i chose Detroit not sure why but try them out you will like them, and why not try your favorite team?

In NHL09, the Wings have a very good offensive group with mostly lefty-shooters. They have so much depth. They r my personal favorite.

San Jose is a solid group with a good balance of left & right-handed shooters. I'd pick a team with a really good goalie, such as Calgary (Kipper), Vancover (Luongo) or New Jersey (Marty Brodeur). If you're doing a dynasty, these goalies r invaluable, & u can build ur team is offense around them. If u r doing online play, l recommend these teams with these goalies as well because they tend to do very well against good users.

Pittsburgh is pretty solid with Crosby & Malkin, & Washington has some really good players in Ovechkin, Semin, Federov, & Green.

l also recommend doing random exhibition games with a random team & getting a feel for what team suits ur style of play. Do u like a puck-possession type, a dump-and-chase, a crash-the-net, or a power-forward type of offense? Do not get into the habit of finding a glitch in the computer is defense & then exploiting it every chance u get. That way, u become so reliant on those plays that u find it hard to score when it does not work out or you're having a bad day. Be versatile, try new plays, & always be open to a new strategy of scoring.
