They are playing better than anytime l can remember and they deserve to win it.

finals will probably be Bruins against Sharks but l could see Thomas choking and San Jose winning

but a wings fan first and foremost

boston would look great hoisting the cup, long overdue, & well deserved, this season, thus far, especially.

if the leafs were a year or two more experienced i'd like to hope that they would pull it off, however, that opinion is irrelevant until that time.

i would not mind the habs, either, & let is face it, a better shot than most teams this season.

many might say san jose. & for just cause.

san jose, although, a team of phenominal talent, coaching & management, have a great chance, but them winning would only strenghten the arguement that san jose should even have a team. like c'mon, why would the nhl keep a team somewhere that only experiences winter through annual viewings of it is a wonderful life, or to a lesser extent, home alone. not a hockey atmosphere, so why force the issue.

but, l digress.

the team l feel that have the best chance of winning the stanley cup, is detroit. a redundant answer, l know, & me, l hate the blasted wings.
but if things wrap up the way l feel they may.
my mid season semifinals-finals predictions.

detroit vs montreal (because they habs have had the bruins number more often than not in the post season.)

wings in 6.

but lots of games still yet to play.anything can happen.

you need to ask the question of who deserves to win. in my opinion the CAPS do. they have come such a long way over the past couple years and are just flat out amazing now. but realistically who will win? most likely either detroit because they are the new york yankees of hockey or the Sharks
