l live England and l really like hockey but, l do not really know which team to support. l really like the pens though and just because of Crosby and malkin besides nasn show them slot here for some reason. But l have family in Brooklyn, new York so maybe the rangers. l like the habs too but, you can only really watch em in French and l can not speak French! Or maybe someone else. So what do you guys think and please state your reasons thanks

Id say red wings.for one, they're my favorite team.but besides that.they have a classy organization..good talent.and alot of history behind their franchise....also if you become a red wings fan you must learn about the blood feud rivalry between them and the Colorado avalanche..in the mid to late 90's.there is a great history there.

All in all, l support every hockey team. l am a hockey fan. Even if l may not like the Flyers, Rangers & Bruins l still would rather watch them play than sit here & watch any other sport..Football(American football that is saying u like in England & ''football'' is something different to you'') is something I'd rather die than watch, so I'd support those three teams l dislike than watch another sport.

If you're asking my FAVOURITE team then it would have to be the Pittsburgh Penguins. My dad was raised in Pittsburgh & was a big Penguin fan. (Even in the late 60s & early 70s when they were newer & no one in Pittsburgh cared for them!) Well, people say u learn some of the best things from ur parents. l learned to be a Penguin fan too.

Another team l really like is the Washington Capitals. When l was real young l lived down south( l was born down south too) & the Caps came on the radio a lot. My dad started liking them, and...okay, my dad gets all my credit for hockey. The Caps rubbed me in the right way too.

l also really like the Tampa Bay Lightning (born there & have a lot of family down there who r big Lightning fans..I've kind of grown to like them), the Vancouver Canucks (Thanks Trevor Linden. l honestly can say the only reason l ever started liking them before was because of Linden), Montreal Canadiens (Thanks to my dad..as a kid not only was he a Penguin fan, but he use to pretend he was Guy LaFleur), San Jose Sharks.

Really... l like nearly every team. It is hard to hate anything about such a great sport!

The Detroit Red Wings are a class organization with a ton of experience and skill along with some bright young talent.. It also does not hurt that they're the Stanley Cup Champions!

And if you like Crosby and Malkin, you will also LOVE Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Hossa..

I'd say whoever you get the most coverage for over there. as you know l guess, malkin, crosby, and ovechkin are some big names in hockey now.


personally, l am a penguins fan. born and raised in pittsburgh and l stuck it out with them through the good and the bad times. thats the bad thing about being a pens fan though, you CONSTANTLY get accused of being a bandwagon fan!
