Hey there, l need some help in thinking of some good moves to get done before the deadline. First of all, l tried to ask this question in the fantasy sports section, but got no responses as it is pretty much all football there. So here is my current line up, tell me what you think, and any suggestions you might have.

C: Joe Thorton, Ryan Getzlaf

LW: Thomas Vanek, Henrik Zetterberg

RW: Martin St.Louis, Shane Doan

D: Brian Campbell, Nicklas Lidstrom, Dion Phaneuf, Jay Bouwmeester

G: Evgeni Nabokov, Tim Thomas

Bench: Eric Staal(C), Jason Spezza(C), Johan Franzen(RW/C), Phil Kessel (RW)

IR: Marian Gaborik

Okay! So, any advice on players l should try to pick up on trade or FA?

l see what you mean, so let me try to narrow it down a bit.

l Really need to pick up another Goalie, and l need better stats in terms of goals for the RW.

l was thinking either Roloson or Backstrom on G, but leaning Backstrom because I am not sure how often Rollie is going to get to play.

Some RW help would be greatly appreciated though. As for PIM, I am not too concerned, as they do not net me that many points.

From the looks of it, it is only a 6 team league...other than that, there is nothing anyone can tell you because they do not know..because they do not know all the info...for instance, your team looks ''soft'' in that aside from Doan/Thornton/Phaneuf, you would not get many PIM....alot of Lady Byng types there!!! Again, who even knows if that is relevant!

You need help on RW, get Kessel of the bench, he is only 3 goals off the lead with 17.

Package up St. Louis & either Staal or Spezza. You r deep at center so u can afford to do this. A deal like this could land u a Patrick Kane or Corey Perry type & leave u with an open roster spot.
Bobby Ryan is available in a lot of leagues & is showing promise.
Someone like Alex Burrows could help as he puts up decent numbers across the board.
On Defence Willie Mitchell is great for plus/minus.
Does ur League not have a PIM category? If it does then it counts for as much as any other stat & u should really consider a guy like Burrows.
In goal it is hard to know who is available but Sabourin & Clemmensen have been solid. l like Roloson but share ur concern.
Is Khabibulin available. It is also likely that some goalies will be traded soon making this choice even tougher.
