Probably Alexander Ovechkin. He did soo well last year. And this year he has not been reaching the standerdes as last year. l mean he is still a great player. But he has dissopoited me so far.

i'd say the most disappointing to me is Marty Turco he has been inconsistant this season. Also Steven Stamkos who was over marketed he just doesnt cut it

Slumpkos. Though l think he was hyped up too much, poor kid.

l think its Jonathan Cheechoo. Many people (including myself) felt he was going to have a rebound year. So far all thats happened is he is fallen off the charts and lost himself on a stacked San Jose team.

The first chick must be a puck bunny. Is Ovechkin not living up to her expectation of looks? l never knew u could be third in points with 42 & still be a let down. What, did u expect him to hit 150 this season?

For me, l am kinda surprised with many of the players on the Wings. Stuart is doing terrible & only has 2 points & a -5. Osgood is record is only 12-2-4 because the Wings saved his ass quite a few times, & it shows with his #'s: A .876 Sv% & 3.19 GAA. He is starting to look like Hasek more & more as the days go by..

If l had to pick a non Wing, I'd go with Stamkos as well..i thought he'd be a great rookie but is doing pretty bad. Oh, & l can not forget Cheechoo either. l thought he'd put up 80+ this year & rebound, but instead is showing signs of last year with only 8 points so far.

l would never pick a rookie as a let down, the hype is not always realistic. To me someone like Turco and Richards in Dallas is a far greater let down.

ps Jeremy, Cheechoo has basiclly been hurt the last two months, kind of hard to put up points from the training room.

l know cheechoo has been hurt but it still surprises me to see that every time l look at the stats he is still at 8 points

l am gonna go homer here - my biggest let down so far has been Filppula. He scored 19 goals last season w/ not a lot of ice time. But he has not done much so far this season.

The whole Dallas Stars organization, from management down to the players, to go from a top 4 team in the west for the past 10 some odd years to dead last in the standings at the end of November is horrible. Hull, Avery, Tippett, Turco, Morrow, Zubov, Ribero, and Modano all need to look in the mirror and hold themselves responsible for this crap.

l know everyone was hyped about the Stamkos kid in Tampa when he got drafted. Have not heard too much about him thus far. Then again, he probably should not have been thrown right into the NHL.
