Okay as a girl who plays ice hockey l think it would be really bi est to say that can not women have been playing ice hockey for 200 years! If u are thinking about playing u should definitely try girl! do not ever let boys bring u down because they consider it a ''boys sport'' Its REALLY A GIRLS SPORT! and if its ur friends that r telling u not to play then really they are not ur friends

l think that if they love the sports and wish to play in a womans league l say why not. l do not see any reason why they should not play.

Women are women; if they play hockey. l assume they enjoy playing hockey.

Some women enjoy playing contact sports. There are a litany of reasons for this; ultimate each person has their reasons. That they play does not make them any different than anyone else.

Its fine that girls play and everything, just as long as its not with guys, so that no one gets hurt. But if a girls tough enough that they can hang with the guys then they should play.

l played boys up into a few years ago, l left it only because it turned into head hunting the girl and not hockey. Girls hockey is the greatest and anyone who says its too rough or something throw them under the zamboni.

Women is hockey is a lot less physical because we can not check. l played and l loved it! It is not too rough, l wish we could check though lol! l am a pretty girly girl, but once l am on the ice it all changes. It is completely exhilarating. If you are thinking about playing you should totally go for it, it is so fun!

l personally play the game & like u im a girl too. A lot of guys think were not rough enough to play hockey but the truth is we are. l know tons of girls that play on boys teams & stuff. l actully admire them for that.because l play in a girls only league. l would recamined playing on a girls team though because when u get to high school they will probabaly have a girls team aleast in my town they do but why l say that is because boys check & u will have to learn all the rules of girls hockey if u want to continue playing.

l have played hockey for 15 years and am playing college hockey right now. l play hockey because l LOVE hockey. l love everything about it.

Its not ''too rough'' l have never understood the reasoning for not allowing women to body check because ''women arent strong enough'' its not as though they are going to be ckecked by a guy thats 100 piunds more than them.
