Actually before today is games they are tied with Atlanta and Tampa Bay at 22 points, so technically l was correct, but I will give you second worst. Point was all the bragging that was going on here, you thought the Penguins were having the parade route planned out.

this was not necessarily aimed at you. l was referring to the many bandwagoners that were running their mouths after Thursday is game,acting as if the Cup was already won. Putting a beatdown on one of the worst teams in the league is far from HEROIC, the most common definition of EPIC.l absolutely give props to Sydor and Dupuis for getting their first hat tricks, but as a team, risking injury to star players so someone can get a hat trick is not such a great idea, and l would think that 7-6 comeback win over a excellent team like Detroit would be more along the lines of EPIC and something to truly feel proud about. l hope that some would agree with me on that.

Are you referring to the Penguins victory over the Islanders on December the 11th? The Islanders are the second-worst team in the Eastern Conference, not the worst.

Not all Penguins fans, like myself r bandwagoners. And l knew, that the Islanders win was not much, reason l did not even bother to come on here & brag about it.

l know we can not brag about much, when we have nagging injuries all over the place. But when this team gets Gonchar, Whitney, Fleury, & Kennedy back. this team wo not be down & out, like they have been as of late.

Yeah, yeah. we get it, u get 1st picks for having a bad year, but why r not teams like Washington, mentioned in this, they did basically the same? l just find that a bit fishy.

Why do l get sh*t for saying that the Pens played an epic game? It was my opinion. Regardless of playing the not-so-good Islanders, that game was fun to watch.
Dupuis is 29ish & Sykora is 32. They've never had a hat trick, & in that game they BOTH got what they've been striving for.

The Pens beat out the 29 NHL teams in a DRAFT LOTTERY that gave EVERY TEAM A CHANCE to pick Crosby.
The New York Rangers, Columbus & Buffalo had just as much of a shot as the Penguins with just as many balls as us.

We got Crosby out of a lottery draw. Every team had as much chance as the penguins did so l have no idea wat you're talking about.
& yes, we did play bad. We do not play 60 minutes & we can never seem to score on the powerplay. l do not know wats up with this team & theres no way im gonna start listing excuses. It shouldnt matter if u have injuries, play a tough or crappy team, or play an afternoon game. If you're going to win games, u need to play ur heart out EVERY game.

l think getting skunked the 1st two games & then loosing in the finals last year really took it out of Pittsburgh for this year. If it was not Detroit,. San Jose, Dallas, or Anaheim all would of smoked Pittsburgh. Now they have to contend with a better Montreal, New York (R) & Washington teams & a Boston team thats playing like their hair is on fire. l do not see it in the cards for the Pens this year. They lost way too much talent & The Pens fans had the parade route marked out last year before the finals. The only parade l saw was guys parading out the doors when it was all said & done.
