l am going to laugh when MAF comes back and they are still giving up 4-5 goals in games. It is not that the goal-tending got worse, it is that the team stopped getting 3 late goals to tie it of win it last minute.

l am glad because our # 1 goalie is coming back, let is face it. Dany is just plain running out of gas. He does not suck. just man, the guy is only a back-up not used to being the starter night in & night out. Our forwards & defenseman did not help him out today either, turning the puck over in our own end.

But, Fleury coming back will boost the team, but also because, Fleury is not fatigued himself. Other than those reasons. he will just be Fleury. & win us our games, that we need at this point.

sabourin actually has a better save% & GAA

he just is running out of energy, hes obviously not a starter, but he is a good backup. however, l would really like to see what curry can do against a real team, not just the new york islanders.

its pretty simple really, what kind of goalie would u rather have:
1)a goalie with fantastic numbers
OR
2)a goalie that ur team plays good in front of & captures wins more often

personally, l would prefer number 2) anyday.

dany isnt terrible, but he has lost 4 of the last 5 he has played in.
of course penguin fans would want their starting goaltender back (who wouldn't) but dany sabourin doesnt suck like most people make him out to.

he does make really nice big saves, but then he lets a lot of soft goals go through, which negates his good play.

Flower is a hero in a lot of peoples minds, he is well liked, he led the team to the stanley cup final last year, so of course penguins fans everywhere feel more confident with him in net.
